Ali Abusheikh, 24, is an English language and literature graduate who studied abroad for a year, in Chicago, Illinois, USA, during university. He considers himself a dreamer and a tea-and-book enthusiast who is Palestinian by blood, yet American in spirit. He aims to be a teacher of English language and literature. He also is passionate about becoming a prominent public speaker and writer who spreads knowledge and raises awareness about his beloved country, Palestine, and his people's plight under occupation. Ali is a We Are Not Numbers writer and Youtuber. He loves to write and speak out to influence people positively/be part of people's lives. Also, he believes that writing and speaking allows him to share the beautiful and positive parts of Palestinian culture and everyday life that is overlooked in Western media. He lives in Gaza.
