​J.W. Kash grew up in Syracuse, New York where his favorite things to do were reading and running. He lived in New York City between 2013-2018 and worked in seven restaurants throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan. During this time he wrote two novels that were never published. In August of 2018 he began studying journalism at SciencesPo in Paris, special thanks to the Emile Boutmy scholarship offered to non-European students.
