Shauri Kati has been a freelance artist and illustrator for over 19 years, and video editor for over 13 years. He is experienced in a variety of illustration styles, such as cartoons and comics.  He uses different media such as watercolors and digital. He has been working with different organizations such as the Raising Voices (Uganda), DAWASCO, Tanzania Standard Newspaper, Global Publisher, WAMASA (Sani), Fahamu Newspaper and Precise Production (as video editor). He lives in Dar es Salaam,Tanzania.
